Thank you so much. My sister was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's last year. She doesn't think she has a problem. It's very sad. She doesn't know dates or days of the week and she has trouble using her debit card and getting gas.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that, JarieLyn. I can’t begin to imagine how scared and frustrated people must be when their mind starts to fail them. I had a stroke at 39. Luckily, I got the clot-busting medication in time so I don’t have many residual effects. However, I remember the feeling of terror as I tried to speak, but nothing would come out right.

I hope your sister gets the treatment early to hopefully slow down the progression of the disease. Thanks for sharing and for reading my article.

Thank you. I know she's scared. I'm scared for her. She won't talk about it. She is getting treatment and it seems to help some. It's really sad.

I can't imagine the horror you went through with your stroke. I'm glad you are doing better. Wishing you all the best.
